My advice would be to not use alumium wire. First, I don't ever recall
seeing aluminum wire in 'hook-up wire' sizes, secondly, aluminum has less
current carrying capacity, thirdly, the aluminum wire will be more
susceptible to fatigue failure (due to flexing). Then, you always have that
CU-AL incompatibility thing. Also, due to it's small corner of the market,
it's likely to be more expensive than copper.
