None of the NURBS surface modeling and machining capabilities are mentioned in the table and a few other functions are also left out, like lathe undercutting and plane milling. Our user forum has been on-line for just about 4 years(in July). If you really want to get a flavor for the kind of difference between the two products, that is a good place to browse. We include 3 years of the content on our distribution CD.
If there are specific questions about parts that you plan to make, I would be glad to discuss how to do it with Vector. If you have specific detailed questions about how to use Vector, I usually suggest that you post to our user forum as the solutions are then shared with all our users.
