Geckos don't seem to get very hot. I have 2 Geckos running at 4A and the
power supply recitfier on a piece of 2mm ali, about 200mm x 300mm with no
fan. It only ever gets very slightly warm.
Fans greatly increase the effectiveness of heatsinks so I think your setup
is more than enough.
