There are loads of these around in the UK and 176v 5.5Nm, is about
normal for servo motors here. I have a few Siemens servo kicking
around off old Guildermeister lathes.
One point to note is that a lot of these didn't have digital
encoders. They either had resolvers or analoge encoders.
I also have a Series 1 Bridgeport with 176v SEM servo motors and a
Heidenhain controller but again this has analoge encoders.
From my very limited experiance of early Seimens stuff the driver
cards are very special and if it is on resolvers they are virtualy
useless.
You might think about going onto Baldor driver cards as these have
models also rated at 176v and 5.5Nm
