but you might spend that in converting a mill in ballscrews steppers
and drives.

another option is to call every machine shop in the yellow pages and
see if they have an old Bridgeport Series One. But expect to upgrade
it with electronics.

If you are talking about mini (hobby) mills Sherline is a good start.

I expect that if a Bridgeport style mill was available for $3,500
many of use would not be on this list !

if you meant $35,000, then you can get quite a few new units. get a
copy of Modern Machine Shop and check the ad's for your requirements.
