Seems the drivers SHOULD respond equally (either direction) to the same
pulse-width from any pins on the Par.Port. But in real life, one is
sometimes surprised! I suggest you insert a 74HCT4538 with R/C components
chosen for a full mS of output pulse, and THEN see if it works! Besides that
IC will also then act as "buffer"!
