Anyone have used before or knows of a reasonably priced handheld LCD
scope that is easy for beginners to use?

Some also do a computer interface to display on pc.
Try entering oscilloscopes or similar in search engines or whatever you use.

Hi all,

sorry if this is very basic for you but what is the easiest most
convenient way for a home hobbyist to deal with static other than
touching a ground pipe prior to touching a static-sensitive
component. I have glimpse a bracelet or something.

Anti static wrist strap from electronic or pc repair component suppliers.
