Sorry to say this - but it's not much more than a toy.

A search on Google for handheld oscilloscope will get you hundreds of
hits!!!

Try clicking on the following:

A single channel 5Mhz "scope" like the Velleman is nothing more than a
Digital Multimeter with a bit of fancy graphics.

There's a marginally cheaper 1Mhz unit available, but If your serious
look at Fluke or Tektronix - you won't like the price though....
