Jay,
You want max voltage from the xmer.
Don't use the green/yellow wire (a center tap).
Connect the green wires to the AC terminals of a full wave bridge
rectifier (4 diodes in a ring).
The xmer is stepping down AC voltage (24/120) and stepping up current
capacity (120/24), therefore, the sec wire has to be larger.
