I got a chance to run the file front4.ngc you sent me that would not do
the circular interpolation commands in EMC BDI 2.12.

The program ran fine in BDI 2.14/STG II.

So either the EMC bug has been fixed or there is some peculiarity to the
stepper motion module not found in the servo ones. The former seems most
likely.
