One of my pals came across this new announcement:

Hong Kong's Accurate Technology Co.'s new CNC milling
machine has computerized controls and an LCD.
Model ATC-835 is equipped with X, Y and Z axis driven
by a Japan-made motor and servo engine. The spindle has 3hp.

The work table area measures 1,370x330mm and total dimensions
are 1,750x1,700x2,270mm. Price is $4,870, FOB Hong Kong, with
no minimum order required.
