If you check out the other documents on the sc site there are two extra
papers that arte important.

One paper discusses how to drive stepper motors generally.

The second paper describes problems with driving stepper motors and how to
overcome them.

To find the papers search for stepper motor.

If you want to know how to run stepper motors at 600 volts and 100's of amps
!!! go to the International rectifiers home site.

They do a chip line like the L298 to do the high voltage.

I am currently working on interfacing one of these with the L297.
