Hi, most people use a "VFD" variable frequency drive unit. I have 4 Advanced
control 70,000rpm spindles but the manufacturer doesnt want to give up any
information as to drive, but they would like to test them for $75.00 each
plus shipping, or rebuild them for $500.000 and up plus shipping. Westwind
on the otherhand will give you all kinds of info. They are Brittish and can
be found on the web. cul brian f.
