Good standard inverter drives will go 3-400 Hz these days and would
give you a limited range of control.

You can check surplus, Aircraft test equipment and many systems run
on 400 cycle power. C and H has some but even surplus it can be
costly.You can get either a power supply or motor generator.

Do the google on 3-phase inverter design, if you like to tinker a 3-
phase PWM control is not super hard for a simple one.
