Well, that's the problem. This really can't be fixed in software.
It requires the motors to instantly jump from one side of the backlash
to the other to reverse table movement, and that can't be done.
If you can reduce this backlash, it might be possible to compensate
some of it away in software, but the results are generally not very good.
