There seems to be a certain interest in Bridgeport Boss5 machines on
this group. I recently upgraded mine, with Geckos (and some help
from Mariss) and it works beautifully. The machine worked well with
the original electronics, and was in excellent condition, but due to
the fact that I had no programming documentation on the machine, I
thought I would start anew (and also in the words of Tim Allen I
wanted MORE POWER ugg). When I did the upgrade, I removed all of
the electronics from the machine carefully. If anybody needs some
of these parts to keep an ole girl working, they are on EBay with a
very low starting bid.
They can be found in the business &
industrial/metalworking/replacement parts/cnc section.
