Guys,

Seems to me a simple solution to this is for the list manager to post a
notice that henceforth all posts will be in the public domain or that they
may be copied and disseminated at cost and anyone who objects must submit a
notice to that effect. The objectors would then be asked to leave the list
as anyone remaining after such and such a date automatically agrees to the
change. I know my bank and other institutions (ATT, Qwest, Utilities) often
modify their contracts with their customers even over the customer's
objection in this manner.
