CO2 laser thing

Hi,
I just found an article in one of my mum's teacher mags about a laser bought by a school over here. I went to work with the red pen high-lighting the interesting bits and uploaded it to the files section under the name 'Laser'. Note that the school spent £10k on this machine. We have a similar set-up at my school armed with a small milling tip for jewellers work. It is used a couple of times a year then sits redundant and for all it's worth, as a piece of junk, for the other 29 people in the lessons. Also laugh at the tube power...... that's IR output watts people! Not the amp rating on the plug! Oh deary.
