Hi John,
This was what I found when I made the pulleys for my little contraption -
except that I was using 2.5mm. At this size a 2mm drill seems right. I
wasn't bright enough to ask for technical details like you so I bought one
pulley of each size and knocked the pressed-on flange off. Then I sorted
throught the drills till I found one that fitted the slot neatly, put one in
a slot on each side of the pulley and miked across them - subtract the dia
of one drill and hey-presto - the right PCD. Miked up the OD and drilled 'em
on the ordinary drill press and rotary table (centre drill first pass). I
got the first pulleys from HPC gears at Dronfield - I assume you tried
them??
