3M Brite-Rite (aka "Scotch-Brite") and WD-40. CAREFUL workmanship!

Though a TERRIBLE fuss, suggest you at least CONSIDER removing the ball-nuts
and balls, putting them in an appropriate container until ready to
re-assemble.
