What, ten lathes all doing the SAME program simultaneously? Guess it COULD
be done, but would be totally impractical! Set-up and "commence" would take
more time that might be saved! I have about four (pre-windows) laptops I got
for $25, and they all work just fine, so "economy" is not a factor here!


Now, if you mean TEN separate programs for ten separate machines, the ONE PC
being "shared", the "net speed" would be so reduced by the "which one do I do
next?" hassle that it would not "pay" at all! What if ONE lathe breaks down?
Does the PC then stop and wait until that ONE is put right, or does it just
continue to run 'em all, and WRECK things???
