Hans,

I guess you're talking about the mini-mill, right? That does look pretty
good. The Grizzly that I'm converting is larger, kinda like a heavy
mill-drill except built like a bed mill. They only offered it early last
year, they said that they were having Q.C. problems with the factory on that
model and would discontinue it until those problems were worked out. I
believe it!!! The stuff they didn't like, I'm re-doing anyway so it didn't
matter to me. I think it will be a good machine when I'm done, but we'll
see. I'm using an AHHA setup for the conversion. I have 2600 in.oz.
steppers for it (way overkill) so I'm not expecting problems from the
motors. I have purchased the AHHA pendant control but am having some
difficulty with it. They have been really responsive to everything in the
past so I'm hoping they will take care of the problems with it quickly.

I also purchased BobCAD v17 and am attempting to learn to use it. It is
pretty difficult to get used to after using ACAD 14. A little more
documentation would probably help.

Ward M.
