Thanks for the info Bob.

I am using Dolphin for my 2D/2.5D design and machining work. I am still
learning. I have explored a few solid modellers however I was scared off
by the price - too rich for this hobbyist.

Your price is attractive. I had a brief look at the web site and I will
return.

You mention "On-line you can get real-time personal support from the Alibre
Assistant." Is the Alibre Assistant a person or just a help database?

Also, I recall that someone recently posted info on using Alibre and
Dolphin. DO you have any info on how this would be done?

Thanks,

Eric

Eric,

The suggested retail price is $495. I am selling it for $395.

On-line you can get real-time personal support from the Alibre Assistant.

One of the main features of Alibre is a very useful collaboration tool.
This
allows teams to work together on-line with real data.

Working on-line gets you all the latest updates when they are available.

Off-line you still have a complete feature based, parametric solid
modeler.
