There are lots of other surplus sources. Jameco sells mostly new
components so the prices while reasonable, are on the high end.
Check www.mpja.com (Marlin P. Jones). C&H Surplus is another
source. There is another source called Mendelson's Electronics but I
forget their URL. Go to a good search engine (I like Google) and
search for surplus electronics or pick up a copy of Nuts & Volts to
name a few. The average one's I see are 10AMP @ 240VAC output and I
have seen the RFE (removed from equipment) ones as cheap as 5 Bucks.
