The version of DXF that Draw 9 exports is not the problem. Draw 9
was shipped with bad DXF filters. At one time you could download
about 6-8 megabytes from Corel's web site to patch the DXF filters
(other bugs too I would guess).

Have you tried that yet? It was buried pretty deep in their support
pages, but the patch download was free. They had a similar problem
with early releases of 10 too, but that one was later fixed in the
shipped media. I don't think any of the 9.0's were shipped with
working DXF filters.
