I would be inclined to twist the motor cables and twist and shield the
signal cables. Twisting is a very effective method of reducing interference
and as I remember results in a 43db reduction when using a 1inch lay
compared with a 27db reduction when using a steel conduit screen. These
figures refer to magnetic interference.
