TurboCADCAM

I own a manufacturing company, and do most of my design work on
Turbocad 8.2. I have tried other cad systems (Autocad, etc) but have
found Turbocad to meet all of my needs and a fraction of the price of
other systems. Recently, I have tried several CAM systems to
accelerate my design to product time. I have used bobcad, and the
free version of Surfcam. I really love surfcam 2D free, but would
never step up to the price tag for the fully functional version.
Right now I am between a rock and a hard place. I'm sure that at
some point, the good folks at surfware will terminate the 'Free'
program, and then I will be left without. Because I have had
virtually all versions of Turbocad since 2.0 (2.0 - 6.0 sucked IMHO),
I am on their mailing list. As of a couple days ago, my prayers were
answered. They have released TurboCADCAM, a package that is based on
turbocad 8.x, but apparently with the features of Surfcam 2DFree
included. I think they are asking around the $995.00 level for the
full package, but have offered a $495.00 Intro/Upgrade price to
turbocad users. I post this message, due to the fact that CAM
software is of huge benifit to the little guy, but good CAM software
is not in the reach of most of our budgets. I think that from what I
have read in this forum, some people here may be interested in this.
The web site is www.turbocadcam.com

Thanks,

Joe

P.S. I am relatively new to this forum, and do not post often, but
this is not a plug, and I was not compensated in any way for this
post, just a regular guy trying to make chips efficiently...
