Just got my dro board from DanM and tried it with freedos 'cause my old
MS-Dos 6.2 disks were corrupted a long time ago. It works great!!! If
you're thinking dro but dos is holding you back, this is the cat's meow.
If you are thinking of using the heds encoders, get Dan's cables because
they are a plug in fit at both ends. No worries!!
BTW - The dual boot with BDI-2.14 worked right off. I installed freedos
first in a small partition and then manually partitioned the drive during
the BDI install. That is not at all difficult to do. The BDI installer
recognized the dos partition and set up LILO to boot both. That's about
as easy as it gets.
