Times like this... I sure like my Signlab ! As far as I am concerned, You "can't get there" from your typical Cad program ! Of course you have recognized that.

Doesn't Master5 take HPGL input ??
You could then do this in Corel Draw in Seconds........ Export Hpgl from there, Import hpgl to Master5. Corels hpgl has worked for me pretty well thru the years, often sending the exported file
directly into an OEM engraving machines controller.

IMO, Corel7 is your absolute best bet, BUT, be warned that SOME copies of the "Special (bundled) Edition" do not include DXF or Hpgl filters. E-bay on occasion for under $25. Older Corel versions,
like V5 will work wonderful as well. Plus, Corel gives you near 1000 fonts to fiddle with and they have some attractive stuff.....

If your down and out, send me some guidelines of what you want. Send something close in AutoCad showing bottom left corner of object for engraving to be done on, Maximum height and length of
engravable area, and finally the Words you want said. I'll punch out a generic G-Code for ya as soon as I can. I will be gone for the weekend though starting Friday morning :-) Yippeeeee
