I am up and running My Taig !
With the help of Carl at deskam we converted the taig with servos
over to deskam. Carl has done a great job with the controller.
I am using deskwin-nc.
I am not a wiring guy so my hesitation was very great!
But it is done and have been running good parts for about a week now.
The next venture is the home switches and then the limits.
After that its the ball screws I have on order.
The code "EMC" is very good and works like the code for my big
machines. I use a Fanuc post processor with a few adjustments.
This little machine is built well for my purposes.
Does anyone know of an existing inexpensive speed controller for the
spindle?
