[CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] how to keep ballnut intact while removing from ballscrew??? (fwd)

Kayla,
I have seen a piece of plastic tubing slipped into the
bore of the Ball nut as it is removed (unnscewed)from
the ballscrew. (use a wire tie to keep it from shooting
out of the ball nut)I've also seen ball nuts shipped
seperate from the screw with a plastic tubing insert
held in place with a wire tie to keep it from scooting
out.
