Any settings you come up with when the motors are bare shaft will be
meaningless when you attach them to your machine.

With the Gecko servo drives the pacing of the pulse stream is irrelevant. It
only drives an accumulator to generate an error voltage by comparing to the
output from the encoders. They could care less how evenly the pulses appear.
The larger the difference between the accumulated command pulses and the
encoder pulses the greater the error signal. The error signal then commands
the servo amp and the greater it is the harder the motors are driven.
