Well, what ever it really is, in the RC world they make a BIG deal about the
more expensive radios using PWM or PCM among other abuses or miss uses of
other terms. I think it is more a marketing thing to justify the high
prices of a good RC transmitter and receiver. I got out of the RC hobby
about 3 years ago, I just could not justify the investment in scale planes
any more. It's sort of like racing cars, one mistake can turn 10 grand into
worthless scrap in a second or two.
