I've not had a chance to look at Vectorcam.I'll have to give it a look.
A friend of mine has Dolphin that I've seen a time or 2, and it looks very user friendly. Though , not very wallet friendly for the hobbiest.

Vector does give a specific CAD_CAM group discount that is for the full
package with exactly the same feature as if you pay the full commercial
price. Contact Fred IMService as he is the distributor for most of the
world except a few countries in Europe.
