Hi Marv
The original machine had x y ball screws according to the
documentation and the z was retro fitted with a 150mm travel ball
screw by SK systems of Santa Clara. Some one else asked about its
configuration. It has square bed ways and is a pretty solid beast,
2.2 tonne vs 1.8 for a new Taiwan Bridgeport clone with an accurite
conversion. The clone is a nice unit for similar $ but they did admit
not as rugged.
Cheers
