Motors now working, but "fault" easily while jogging

Background:
Camtronics Servo Box (home built from kit)
Gecko 340's
Litton 430oz motors w/encoders
I had the +/- hooked up backwards yesterday causing my motors to "run
away"
Fixed this and now I think the motors are correct since they
just "hum" while sitting there...also, I cannot turn the shaft by hand
(motors sitting on bench, not installed on mill)
When I fire up the software (TurboCNC), I can manually jog the axis
until i try to jog a little faster or try to make a larger move.
The Geckos "Fault" (all three fault even though I am only moving one
motor and axis)
Thanks
