There is no parity for resistors. You can connect them in either
direction. They do not act like resistors or diodes.

So you can connect them in either direction.

Cheers.

on Geckos??

I bought a large lot of 1/4w 5% resistors and need to know which
side is + so I can connect it correctly to a G201.
They are 82k. The bands are in this order...
grey,red,orange,gold.
ANy clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Jim
