I know we are a little off topic here guys, but here is a possible
source for plastic
Independant Plastics
Houston, Tx.
800-822-9008
They specialize in regrind and small quantities (small means 200# and up)
BUT, they do seem to be willing to give out 5#
samples pretty easily if you use the correct speak. Their inventory
constantly changes but you should be able to get polypro at
about .70 cents a lb.
Also could you post the details of where you bought that portable injection
molding machine? >>
Hi Joe,
Thanks for the info on the regrind source. I bought the machine from Glacier
Machinery, got lucky there since I bough their only custom injection molder,
but they may have others, you will have to call them direct and find out,
tell them Mario with MIA Designs sent you, ask to talk direct with the owner
Marvin, super guy! He sent me the machine in working order. I have tried
other sources but they say" we know nothing about them, you buy as is" not so
reassuring so you have no idea whether you are buying a piece of junk or a
gem. Looked them up by Keyword in the Internet.
Good Luck,
Mario
