Hi all,
I setup a 2 axis router table with steppers for playing with EMC. I modified
generic.ini to work with my home/limit switches polarities and in manual
mode made a first moves. Now I wanted to enter in generic.ini correct values
for INPUT_SCALE ( I have belt drive which moves 25mm/rev and 400 steps/rev
motor -> INPUT_SCALE = 16.0 0 instead generic 1000.0 0). Now the axis wont
move and I got error "Axis 0 following error".
I'm running steppermod.o module.
Second quesiton is what does freqmod do, or what is phase stepping? "Output
to the motor signal phases directly" does it means that I need diferent
wiring to the LPT and different stepper drivers for using freqmod?
Can anyone help?
Igor
