I find that I can search the last 250 or so with a dial up connection
and the last 1,200 or so with the cable modem.

results may vari in your location.

I do the same thing, just keep hitting next. If I don't find an
answer in the last 5,000 10,000 posts, I ask it again.

There was talk about a CD with the archives burned, but it seems
there was some argument that some people felt that they have a valid
copyright on material they posted.

I think we are all waiting for the issue to be resolved.

The word doc kinda does not work as you cannot follow the thread
easily. and to put it all into a database is an awesome task.
