This is Erickson type Quick Change tooling. It is quite
common on Bridgeport CNC machines. Most likely it is the
30 taper version but a very few machines were fitted with
40 taper versions. While the taper is the same as ISO or
National Standard 30 and 40, the Quick Change has a very
specific flange diameter and thickness. Sometimes you
can modify them to work, but you should be looking for
the real thing. Common brands are Erickson (QC-30 series),
and Valenite (V30M series). They have also been made by
Kennametal, Lyndex, Command Tool and others.
