Actually, it accepts writes from any program that can access a disc file,
since itself masquarades as a file. That includes just about all of the
languages. ASC gives you programming examples for reading and writing
from/to I-LPT. The front end would need merely to convert degrees to steps
and format a command to send over. You can also read position easily and
display it. I'm probably the resident expert on I-LPT; I use it daily under
my own master program. if you decide to use it let me have your questions.
