Taking a break from EMC

Hi all,
Last night I hooked my machine back up to the AHHA controller... The
EMC is close but not yet ready for prime time for me. Several issues
are too big for me to deal with. The inability to deal with negative I,
J, K numbers without going into an absolute rage is an issue I can't
live with. Not being able to set individual maximum axis speeds
severely cripples its usefulness on my machine. For my present machine
individual maximum speed and ramp rates are a must and I can not accept
a substitute. (My machine is a stepper driven machine)
And... The last straw, I loaded a program on the EMC and it would run
when I did one step at a time but not when I just hit run! Weird!!!
The same program runs on the AHHA setup.
I have not given up on the EMC however. To change back to EMC all I
have to do is remove the AHHA cable from its port and plug the EMC cable
into its own separate port. It should only take about two or three
minutes for the change over. I'll try again after the NaN thing is
fixed...
