Yes thats the case. Youre limited to selecting 2 pockets or 1 pocket with an island at a time. But you can cut as many pockets ,ect. as you want.
And you also are limited to 1000 lines of code when you edit it in the included editor. But I dont edit from and editor,I use word to edit anyway.Otherwise it still posts the file before the editor pops up that you are limited to.SO you still get your (say 5000 line or more)code anyway.
There is a way around the editor limitation if you would rather use the editor included. Just edit your code and right click and copy after you highlight the entire code, then paste it into a text file and rename the extension to whatever you need.Be sure that when you are scrolling down to highlight all the code, not to go outside of the editor window with your cursor because sometimes Surfcam will detect what you are doing and pop up a message that says the free version editor is limited to 1000 lines of code. Otherwise copy/paste into new text file works everytime.
Well worth the price for the small limitations that I ve described.Ive tried out several other packages, such as VectorCAD-CAM ect., and for my needs, I couldnt ask for a better program(even if the others were free also).
The graphics are A1 in simulation, and as Ive said, its an easy program to learn with alot of features.
Whats it going to hurt to try it out? Its FREE.The full package costs upwards of $5,000.Give it a try and see for yourself.
Regards,
Jim
