deleting Off Topic posts

Yes, I have but two problems crop up.

1. It takes a lot of time to do so, especially when it is really not
necessary or desired for people to post Off Topic in the first place.

2. Then I receive and have to answer, where are these posts, the numbers are
missing........

If the members will review the purpose/mission of this list they will find it
is for only four topics, and only from a Home Shop Hobbyist viewpoint. Can
you use the list for help in commercial work, certainly but please don't post
commercial problems to the list. I love politics and jokes as much as more
as anyone on the list, but I know they are Off Topic and I don't post them to
this list.
The value of this list is that it is tightly constrained to helping up build
our machines, and anything that is not helpful is neither necessary nor
desired.

Bye the way the list is either at 3000 members now or extremely close, should
pass this week for sure, can you imagine if anything went in
postings????????????
