Thanks Jan, I'm going to take a look at that. The transformers came with
to of the leads from the dual secondaries soldered together on the end.
It had not occoured to me that it might be that their previous use was
not with any need to parallel them. But I did notice that the 88volts
was present on the two outside unconnected legs. I'll poke around with
the meter a little more.
