Could not resist speaking up If you are going to cut clock/watchwheels on a sherline
I recomend the milling machine using the CNC rotary table and a CNC linear controller
since these stand alone controllers (one linear and one rotary) have handshaking by
connecting the two together you have a semi automatic wheel cutting machine that can
be set up in a few minutes to cut any division/ feed speed and feed distance. Go drink
a pop (or something stronger if you do clock and watch parts) and remove the wheel !
If properly set up its a neat/accurate system I have cut a few hundred on mine and 40
other wheel cutting machines get limited use. Its quick cnc with no cad or cam !
Good Luck
