HI
I had trouble with a phase converter and found that I needed to remove
some capacitors. If you have an amp probe check to see if the lines are
even.
There is a great tutorial on how to build your own phase converter on
the Internet cant find the link but will keep looking. I built a 3hp
converter for $50. Surplus parts 3 phase motors are cheap and available and
only require capacitors to be wired in. I bought a factory rotary converter
and still had to "tune it" to get it to work right. Josh
