Gortite is a plastic bellows-like product used to cover slides and
ballscrews on machines
to keep swarf and dust off the precision surfaces. The maker is
Goretex. Goretex probably has
other product lines in the cable/hose chain area, but Goretite is for a
somewhat different
product.
