Hi,

Can you let us know your parts sizes ? are you making small parts
say, less than a 6"x6'x4" high part?

The smaller you make something, the stronger the pieces are. even a
wooden frame unit will do some light (slow) work on aluminum.

This is an expensive hobby. just for cheap motors and cheap drives
you can easily spend $500.00 on electronics for a small unit.

Also, what city are you near ? there might be some sort of auction
like Boeing has to allow you to get great materials at super low
prices.
